Rhea Evanson joined Hope as our Pastor on March 1st, 2023.
Kris Kessell is our Office Manager. She has been with Hope Lutheran since September 1990. Family members include her daughter Nichol, son Jake and a granddaughter. She has two furbabies that are also part of her family - Wilson (dog) and Mac (dog). Kris' hobbies include cooking, gardening and doing crafts. For Kris, family (both immediate and church) are most important in her life - oh yeah - and her furbabies. 🐾
Cody Techau is our Music Director and Tech Support. He started at Hope Lutheran in September 2018 and is a 2020 graduate of Kirkwood Community College. Cody's hobbies include playing music, composing music, reading and learning foreign languages.
Marcella Luxa is our Pianist. She has been with Hope Lutheran since the late 1970's. Her family includes daughter Paula, son Michael and daughter Jana. She also has Cocoa (dog) and Kaya (dog) that are part of her family. Marcella's hobbies include music, games, bowling and golf. Marcella has been the President of Churches United for many years and was also the Administrative Secretary for Churches United from 1988-2003.
Lyn White is our custodian. She has been with Hope since October 2007. Her family includes her father (deceased), mother, two brothers and one sister. She also has two dogs - a Golden Retriever/Black Lab and a Yellow Lab. Lyn's hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, going for walks with her two dogs and spending time outside.
